The King of Ascalon has just received this anonymous message:

Your Majesty,
I have heard tell that Ascalon is harbouring my sworn enemy and the portrait you have recently commissioned is an incontrovertible evidence of that.
I demand you to turn her over to me! If you’ll refuse I will be compelled to use all my power against your people. However my intentions are not hostile: friends in fact call me “Happiness”, why don’t you too join my side?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.

Hmm well lets see the only people against us would be the puppets and i don't believe we are holding any of their crewmates. Plus no one new as come into our crew really. I mean no one that comes from some big crew and would have enemies. Hmmm perplexing....

Blackseagull wonders if the portrait mentioned as the "evidence" is our new flag portrait, with Arete and Ascalon. Arete seems suspicious xD.

Mmiimmii looks over this document carefully and seems to wonder who is Ascalon in the portrait..as she has always thought that Ascalon was the sword ...the iron...If so ...who is holding Ascalon ...I really don't believe that Arete is suspicious as she be a goddess of virtue...
So I'm left with only one question who is holding Ascalon...and is she the enemy spoken of by this person who calls themselves Happiness.

I think who wrote the message is Kakia, Arete's sister. Greek goddess of vice and moral badness.

If you check that link, there she says "My friends call me Happiness", when she's trying to tempt Heracles.

And she's trying to make us "join her side"! The dark side! Oh noooo!

Following Lady Blackseagull's advice, I sent a message back to the sender, stating that Ascalon won't ever join the dark side. Soon thereafter I have received another one.

How did you dare refusing such a generous offer from my mistress? Prepare to die, you sorry knight!

There is a pirate on pp called Kakia and the only friend she has on there is Azarbad. Perhaps it was him that sent this message.

Arete and Kakia appeared to me in a dream last night! Azarbad was standing between them at a crossroad. They spoke to him like they did to Heracles, but he chose to follow Kakia's path! There was also another character in my dream... he was watching the whole scene with a smirk. How scary!

O.o Thats Mortesecca!!! Prince of our flag himself.. hmm

It's him, indeed! How could I not recognize him?! But why so green? I think that some further investigation is needed here.

Jealous? I don't think it's a matter of jealousy. Mortesecca is not that kind of man. Indeed he's an unfathomable person and this is the reason why most of the people account him as a weirdo, but (with the exception of some occasional drinking in excess and making experiments on animals) his behaviour has always been flawless. His supposed interested in black magic is nothing but rumors, mostly due to his strong drive for natural sciences. You know what? I think we all know very little about him... and this strange dream of mine somehow scares me.

Perhaps his dealings with necromancy have something to do with Kakia. Perhaps she took an interest in him for it. Also perhaps Mortesecca is being transformed into a monster after all many of the mythological beasts started out as humans who upset the gods. Or maybe this isn't Mortesecca at all but some kind of zombie reincarnation of him that he brought forth in his necromancy.

Well, I think that image of Mortesecca looks like a negative. (You all do remember film negatives?) Are we seeing the negative as in dark side of Mortesecca? Otherwise why would he smirk to see Azarbad go off with Kakia?

P.S. I really do think that if I had to live my whole life with a "beard" like that, I would probably turn bad too )

Maybe during one of his experiments, Mortesecca drank a potion with green dye and something went wrong! And now he turns into Hulk or something like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! Lol

Interesting theories, but... I think we need some evidence.

Perhaps the green tone has to do with something an alchemist gave him?

I was reading the story of Acrete and Kakia..."At a crossroads, Arete appeared to Heracles as a young maiden, and offered him glory and a life of struggle against evil; her counterpart, Kakia offered him wealth and pleasure. Heracles chose to follow the path of Arete."
I was wondering if perchance Mortesecca was green with envy...to have wealth and pleasure.

Anyway, nobody has seen him in the last 5 days. I'm starting worrying about it.

If Kakia wrote the first message and was given the response of "I don't thinks so... Who is the Mistress if not Kakia in the second or better still who wrote the second message if not Kakia?????

I think I'm going to take a little trip to Greenwich and check out Kakia's abode at Minute House and I'll check out Azarbad digs at the Riemens slums on Descartes as well...maybe some information or clue as what is happening will be forthcoming.

Actually I did notice that both Kakia and Azarbad went missing 5 days ago too (and at the same hour) Mortesecca went missing the same day but later in the day.
