8th anniversary

Dear Captain,
are you planning on running any event to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the crew, next week?
We already agreed to take the crew portait on that day.
Anything else?

The trivia is almost ready. I will probably complete it tomorrow morning, as now I can't work on it any longer.
It consists in two parts: one about Saint George and one about the crew.
I suggest assigning three prizes: one to the winner of first part, one for the second and a prize for the overall winner.

Prizes
1st part (about Saint George)
- Saint George's banner (furniture)
- A sea monster badge
- An inscribed trinket (pin or card or whatever)

2nd part (about the crew)
- Saint George's banner (furniture)
- Officer or SO badge
- Promotion to Officer, in case the winner is still ranked as a Pirate
- An inscribed trinket (pin or card or whatever)

Overall winner
- A money prize (you name it)
- An inscribed trinket (pin or card or whatever)

Please check the price of these items online and post the budget replying to this post. You can suggest other prizes, if you have another idea. Tonight I will check the forum and put this information on the trivia. It will be online tomorrow as a Google form.

We could also have different prizes for ranks - this is actully the solution I like the most. Now I don't have time to expand it. Catch you later.

Total costs would be ~141.283+overall winner's money prize assuming an O badge and 3k/3 doub trinkets. I don't think that most new crew members know anything about the crew that is worthy of putting in a trivia. Again, I'll try to be there.

It's also worth pointing out that it's much easier nowadays for pirates to get their promotions. Systems followed by old crews no longer necessarily apply. I'm not so sure a lot of the crewbies will be able to attend any event we might put up tomorrow, especially considering most won't be free until the weekend starts, therefore, I was going to suggest postponing any event until Friday or Saturday.

I must admit the cost is higher than I expected.

As for the knowledge of the crew, I started updating our YPPedia page with this purpose. Unfortunately an unxpected event is preventing me to keep on updating it and tomorrow morning I won't be able to work neither to the trivia nor to the Yppedia page.

Nevertheless the trivia could be online until Sunday, like Aze suggested.

Indeed, we could sponsor different events for the upcoming days, such as war brig pillages with rotating navs (sup) and Kraken hunts.
