Anniversary of the Foundation

:cry: I'm not gonna be there. I'm somewhere in Europe (where the weater is nice) camping and having fun (I hope ).

I'm thinking we should have some sort of portrait made with all the main players in the flag in it. That way we can commerorate the event to those that have put there hearts and souls into the flag. Also for prizing tournaments and events we should see if we can get some sort of donation thing from the pirates of the flag that way the burden is not placed on a few people. I think we should do a swordfighting and rumbling tourney like we did before because those were fun. Also we have Pish's "Bakeoff" event, so far for things we could do.

Alright, donations will be welcome although the Knights of Saint George have a crew coffer that we keep with this purpose: sponsor events. Beside that I still have a couple of prizes I haven't assigned in Matt's contest, that was cancelled.

• Event blockade
  Oh, take a deep breath and sit down. No, it's not like the one on Cromwell. I've asked Howtie (the Gov'nor of Ashkelon Arch) if we could schedule an event blockade on AA and she agreed. We should only tell her when and how. I was thinking of taking into the board as many sloops (undermanned, possibly) as we can and hunt one another. Cannons ineffective could be great fun also.
  
  
• Dragon hunt
  Enblith and I were trying to run this event for our birthdays, but some issues arose. It's a pvp hunt between two crews, one of them being the Dragon (a sloop filled with valuable goods). There are some collateral problems in its organization and that is one of the reasons why we gave up also.
  
  
• Literary contests
  Write poems and/or tales about the flag.

We definitely have to make the flag portrait but... there are always some issues.

1. A portrait can depict a maximum number of 7 pirates noblemen... how to pick the lucky ones? Unfortunately I don't know how to measure putting hearts and souls into the flag and people might have different feelings about that (I could for instance feel that X has put more heart than Y while another Royal might see things differently). Since in the past we have already experienced troubles on this very delicate subject, I'd rather propose to assign the 3-4 spots left (I am assuming that Royals will be portrayed) through a special contest for peers.

2. Clothes and items. Always been a problem choosing them (since I don't agree to let everyone wear whatever he/she wants).
