Re: Bilge battle
There could be another solution. The poster of the board receives all the points made on said board.
So Biccoc gets 8 (or 24, if we add the multiplier) points for that board plus Azeitona's, plus Leoric's and so on. This would encourage people posting boards, but we have to find a way of penalizing the board poster as well.
dont like this... it would appear a lot of boards with bingos or donkeys in one move... lol xD

Bilge Battle
Point...(or in my case , half a point)....If one has no idea what they are doing (ie: she played the jelly) what more penalty do I need...I find in a battle like this, the winner is predetermined....who ever understands the finer points , gets the prize...I really don't mind no prize ...I just want to bilge better.....

Well, then you should comply with the first rules I wrote. Positive score (even 1 point) is for what really rewards in bilging, while negative scores penalize your performance in-game. It was not out of the blue.
Remember the golden rule of bilging: 3x1 in one move; 3x3 in three moves.

and a 3x3x3(bingo) in 9 moves (for me its 9... but somepeople say its 8 xD)

Re: Bilge battle
What if we simplify this a bit? The idea of the game is great and easy to understand... finding a combo and posting the sequence of coordinates to get it, which is what everyone who wants to bilge better (including me of course xD) should do, "learn how to spot combos"...
So, I was thinking... what if we just do that? Without taking any points from the person who posts a board... and without paying attention to the colour of the pump (I almost never get sparkly pump like Leo lol)...
Pish posts the first board... and...
1- Every player has to post a new board after the coordinates played, no matter what colour is the pump.
OR
2- The first player posts the sequence of coordinates of his/her choice and can choose whether to let the next poster continue using that same board or post a new one... etc. The only rule could be that a board can't be used more than twice... otherwise the third poster could be screwed xD lol. So there would have to be a new board every 2 posts at least.
Points would stay the same, better combos get better scores...
What do you think?

I'm usually Ultimate bilger and I have never ever made a Vegas in my life. Sometimes, I go for Sea Donkeys just for fun, knowing that it's not the best way of bilging, though. Please avoid doing that, cause it's absolutely counter-productive.
I also do not agree with Aze said. Bingo in 8-9 moves is still too much. I go for bingos only if it's within reach... that means no more than 6-7 moves.

Re: Bilge battle
Well okay clean fact then , if you does a 3x3 in 3 moves you get your pump better but the maximum for bingos i dont know.

Re: Bilge battle
So confusing, but never mind I am happy to get a line of 3 in one click. Sometimes 3x3s 3x4s These fancy dingos just fluke occasionally, like once in six months!
