Ahoy, Just turning off a firewall will not necessarily unblock something that's italready blocked. Try uninstalling Puzzle Pirates, then reinstalling from http://download.threerings.net/yoclient/puzzlepirates-fullinstall.exe- ifthis does not work, or if you get an "Unable to connect to server" errorfollowing installation, please try the following steps: Windows Firewall (Windows XP Service Pack 2):Go to Start-Control PanelDouble-click Windows Firewall, then Exceptions, then Programs and ServicesAdd the following programs to the list of exceptions using the Add Programbutton (note: you may have to use Browse... instead of selecting from thelist initially presented to you):C:\Program Files\Three Rings Design\Puzzle Pirates\java\bin\javaw.exeandC:\Program Files\Java\jre1.x.x_0x\bin\javaw.exe for each folder withinC:\Program Files\Java. Norton Internet Security:Open up the Norton Internet Security Control PanelGo to Personal Firewall, then select "Configure", then "Programs"Add the programs listed above, and choose to Permit All for these programs.
