Story of a title

I have received from Lady Blackseagull the following message.

Arrr! Everything’s dark! I can’t see! Oh no, I had the eye-patch on the wrong eye. Ok everything’s fine, but I feel strange. What’s wrong? Let’s check: I have my hook, aye; I have my peg leg, aye; I have my crown, aye… errr Crown?!? How on earth did I get to have a crown?

What happened? How?! Amnesia? A cannonball landed too close? I can’t remember! I must have some sort of document with me, arrr a scroll inside a secret pocket of my stripy knickers! The scroll says I’m a titled member of the glorious Flag of Ascalon. Billions of blue blistering barnacles! But I can’t remember how I got to be one!

The Event

Let your creativity and imagination come out and play! Help the titled members of Ascalon regain their memories of how they got to become Lords, Ladies or Princess!

What? Think about Princess Safebet, Lady Enblith, Lord Acerin, or Lady Blackseagull and what paths they took to get to where they are now, displaying your creativity through words!

How? You can choose any style you want! It can be a short story, a poem, a song, it’s up to you. There is no word limit, but try to refrain yourself from writing an encyclopaedia or we’ll fall asleep.

Who? Everybody can participate!

When? From September 7 to October 4.

Why? To help the Senior Officers regain their memories of course! Plus the possibility to win one of the amazing prizes listed below.

Prizes: Each of the SOs is offering a different prize for the winners. For example, if you submit an entry for Safebet and you win, then you will get the prize she was offering.


Lady Blackseagull
Participants may choose between the following:

1. a cat with pedigree (inscribed card)
   
2. zombie hunter's kit (display case with the hand of a zombie "defeated by Blackseagull", whisking potion, blackjack)
   
3. the cook's kit (cleaver, fish, apron, inscribed cookies)
   
4. a mystery prize

Bonus: send your entries from September 7 to 13 and if you win you'll receive a mystery box worthing at least 10k.


Lady Enblith
Participants may choose between the following:

1. a dog
   
2. a garden set (including a bench with back, 2 potted plants, a crate o'herbs(madder) and a pick and shovel
   
3. female outfit: ( wide-brimmed hat, striped shirt and vest, flare pants and fancy boots) in any colour except black and gold
   
4. male outfit: (musketeer hat, striped shirt and vest, loose pants with sash and fancy boots) in any colour except black and gold

Bonus: send your entries from September 14 to 20 and if you win you'll receive a mystery box worthing at least 10k.


Princess Safebet
Participants may choose between the following:

1. Office Set: Consisting of a Fancy Desk, Fancy Chair, Blotter and Books
   
2. Brawling Kit: Long Sword and Gloves (both green/green)
3. Women's Outfit: Boots, Wrap, Vest and Scarf and Wide-brimmed Hat (please specify the colours desired. No black or gold)
   
4. Men's Outfit: Boots, Pants, Vest with Sash and Musketeer Hat (please specify the colours desired. No black or gold)

Bonus: send your entries from September 21 to 27 and if you win you'll receive a mystery box worthing at least 10k.


Lord Acerin
Participants may choose between the following:

1. White, Green, Gold Rimmed Pin (originaly awardet to Acerin for some secret services)
   
2. Gibbet (I was there, it's confortable)
   
3. Drinking Table and Rumbling Pit (everything has it's place)
   
4. Universal Hair Dye (best way to avoid recognition)

Judges: Each SO is going to judge the entries he/she received and pick a winner. Judging criteria will be based on creativity, artistic ability, effort, etc.

Rules:
- You must submit your entries before the deadline!
- Your entry can be written in any of the four official languages of Ascalon: English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch.
- You can participate with a maximum of four entries (one for each SO), and a minimum of one!
- Have fun!

The deadline has been postponed to October 26.

If you haven't started a story yet and you might be willing to participate, I kindly ask you to focus on Safebet and Acerin.

I just want to remind you that there are still 6 days to submit your entries.

Both Safebet and Acerin have received only one entry each, so there is a great chance of winning if you come up with a story for them!!!

Also, letting the only entrant win by default is not cool.
