Is anyone playing the new game by the Ringers?

there is a new game? didnt know about it... will try to take a look tomorrow xD

ahoy... Tried to play Spiral Knights but it's only by invite right now april 4th we can all play....looks real good can hardly wait to play

i liked. I will try to take a better look on april 4.

It's fun. Periodically they release invites on their Twitter feed (@SpiralKnights) so I've been playing for a week or so now. Pretty well done though I wish they'd implemented some of the features into pirates (like mail and such). It unfortunately shows off how little development they are now devoting to pirates...

That said, it is damn weird seeing OMs in this world. A bunch of them got tagged to switch teams to be "Game Masters" for SpiralKnights. I wonder if they are no longer OMing?

Did you know Three Rings is now involved in the implementation of a Dr. Who online game? It sounds like a very ambitious project. Who knows, maybe they are going to get more exposure from this game and some of its players will join PP? They also announced a new marketing campaign a while ago, I am wondering if has brought any result. Oh, wait... the release of POTC4 will do anyway.

I saw a lot of players with piratical names or piratical guilds. I think there will be more bleedoff from Pirates than the other way around... However, it's a partnership between Sega and Three Rings, so it looks (to me at least) like they're getting some real exposure and money to put into things. SK took several years to develop and as such, looks quite polished.

Personally, I wish they'd put a few years of development money into pirates too. POTC4 will, as usual, bump the population of JackSparrow greenies but not really do much for the oceans themselves. Then again, the overarching problems aren't solved either. I can't afford several hours to pillage, I can afford 20 minutes to do a couple levels in a dungeon (and would anyway in Crawl) which I can do solo if I wish without penalty.

I have also talked to Poseidon in-game, but I don't know if he is sticking around permanently there or was just helping out that day.

I have started playing SK. It is not my kind of game, but it is still fun and you can play it for half an hour without hurting yourself or your party. I wish it was the same with Puzzle Pirates.

Yup! Still working on getting the recipes for the Ash Tail and Skolver or Vog Cub upgrades though.

Alright, I'll definitely look for you after Easter as I won't be much online in the next three days. Oh, but how? I mean, how to you check if someone is online? Is there a sort of /w command I missed?

Strangely they haven't implemented either /w or profiles... so just send me a friend request There's in-game mail as well, though it does cost some crowns.

sorry man unfotunately something happend to my good comp and now im working on my crappy one so no more spiral knights for me until i get one and this happend like 2 months before best luck to u in the game =D and on real life of course xDDD
