RULES

The Carpentry Festival is open to everybody.

Each mini-contest assigns points depending on people's participation. The bigger the number of participants, the higher the points up for grabs. Score will be calculated with the following formula: (N*2)-((R*2)-2).
N = number of participants
R = rank
Example: third out of 10 participants = (10*2)-((3*2)-2) = 16 pts.


PRIZES
25 sangreazuls and a special prize to be announced before Saturday 14 for the overall winner.

Trainees of the Knights of Saint George will additionally compete for:
1st prize: a golden medal and 6/10 of the jackpot
2nd prize: a silver medal and 3/10 of the jackpot
3rd prize: a bronze medal and 1/10 of the jackpot

The jackpot
The jackpot is a fund open to donations from Carpenters of the Knights of Saint George.
It currently amounts to 10.000 PoE.

NOTES

There won't be any assignment this time, but the participation to Bizz Bucket will be compulsory for Safebet, Piraatmaaike, Rubydeath, Scrondo, Athika, Jimmybucs, Verona.

wow this one is going to be the hard one... we have a lot of good carps in our crew, but i will try to win this one too!

Sounds nice, I will join again...But when is Monday 12 till Saturday 24? In februari there isn't one. I think you made a mistake with the days pish.

Damned I can't make it to the bake off. My house is full of people for a meet with about 8 friends. How can I win the prizes than?

I wouldn't worry too much about that - I managed to win the sailing when I missed the bake off.

That mostly depends on people's participation. If few people attend the bake-off, then the points they get won't significantly affect the final ranking, but if many people show up then you may lose a lot of points.

I might be available to re-schedule the event though. How about the following Sunday, same time?

Sounds much better! The next day is the start op my holiday, so I have enough time to participate. (Don't have to go to bed early) :-)

Bizz Bucket

This game is inspired to the drinking game called Bizz Buzz.

Players generally sit in a circle. The player designated to go first says the number "1", and each player thenceforth counts one number in turn. However, any number divisible by three is replaced by the word bizz and any divisible by five by the word buzz. Numbers divisible by both become bizz buzz. A player who hesitates or makes a mistake is either eliminated or must pay a forfeit, such as taking a drink.
A typical round of bizz buzz starts like this: 1, 2, Bizz, 4, Buzz, Bizz, 7, 8, Bizz, Buzz, 11, Bizz, 13, 14, Bizz Buzz, 16, 17, Bizz, 19, Buzz, Bizz, 22, 23, Bizz, Buzz, 26, Bizz, 28, 29, Bizz Buzz, 31, 32, Bizz, 34, Buzz, Bizz, ...

Bizz Bucket is similar, with a few major differences: we are not sitting in a circle, we will use carpentry pieces instead of numbers and... we don't have booze. DOH!

RULES

The first round starts with me as the player designed to go first. I'll post in a dedicated thread the image of the most frequent carpentry piece.
In turn you must post the picture of the following most frequent piece as shown in this thread.

When it comes to pieces with the same frequency (like 2, 4 and 7) the poster is free to choose any of them and the next poster will post at his turn another piece of the set of pieces with the same frequency so that only "bizzed" pieces will be skipped.

Since 5 is the number of tile that form a carpentry piece, we will "bizz" pieces containing 5 as a factor. And since the bucket could be considered the 13th piece, we'll replace that number with the word "Bucket".

Once counted till 13 (thus once the word "Bucket" has been posted), the next poster will have to post the picture of the common piece and so on. The counts though doesn't start over, so the next piece to be "bizzed" is 15!

Example: [pic1], [pic2a], [pic2b], [pic4a], Bizz, [pic6], [pic7a], [pic7b], [pic7c], Bizz, [pic11], [pic12], Bucket, [pic1], Bizz, [pic2a], etc.

There is no order, so you can post anytime you want, waiting two turns before posting again.

Once a player makes a mistake, the game starts over and anyone can go first posting the picture of the most common piece. If someone makes a mistake, the previous poster doesn't have to wait for 2 turns and can start the count over.

All the partipants will be invited to join a special drinking tournment with prizes during the final award ceremony of the Carpentry Festival.


SCORE

+5 pts. for each correct post
-3 pts. for each wrong post
+1 pts. for detecting a wrong post of the previous player
-2 pt. for continuing the sequence without detecting a wrong post of the previous player

END OF THE GAME

The game ends either on Saturday 28 or when the word "Bizz Bucket" (a number divisible by 5 and 13) is posted.

SPECIAL RULES FOR THE KNIGHTS OF SAINT GEORGE
Safebet, Piraatmaaike, Rubydeath, Scrondo, Athika, Jimmybucs, Verona as trainees are required to participate, making at leat 2 correct posts.

The title of "Drunk" will be awarded to the Knights with the lowest score.

Masterpiece^n Competition

This is very simply: post a screnshot of the best Masterpiece you can achieve.

RULES

There is only one rule: your character must be visible in the screenshot.

HINT

F12 works once, but not twice so you can miss recording good Masterpiece if you hit F12 when you think you have a high MP and you eventually get even a higher one.
That's an anti-spam measure. You can't use twice the same short cut unless you type another key. You can fix that setting /print on F11 too. So you can type F11 and after that F12 and then F11 again.

You won't have any problem using Print Screen instead.

It can be an alt, as long as it can be recognized as an alt of yours (so if it's Jstgeorge, the answer is yes).

wow! i won! when this started i thought would be really hard.. beacuse we have a lot of incredible carpers, i am really happy that i could get leg in carp, and won the festival!
