Flag portrait
Commissioned by King Pishkirlin in 2008, the flag portrait depicts the Greek goddess Arete and the personification of Ascalon.

ARETE was the goddess or daimona of virtue, excellence, goodness and valour. She was depicted as a fair woman dressed in white.
ASCALON is depicted as a warrior, holding a longsword (representing knighthood) and wearing a winged helmet as a reference to the coat of arms of the flag, where the sword appears over a vol.
