20 Questions - A game

A cool internet game. You think about something and the website will ask you 20 questions trying to find out what you are thinking about.

20Q is an object, a website, a company, and a phenomenon. It first gained popularity as an online game (20Q.net) where users log onto the website and play against an artificial intelligence (A.I.) foe. Players think of an animal, vegetable, mineral, or other object and 20Q guesses what the player is thinking in twenty questions or less. And, the more people play, the more the game “learns.” 20Q.net gets 50,000,000 impressions per month and played its 44,000,000th game in September 2006!

Try it out, it works realy well.

I just bested it. I thought about fotangles (I don't know if that is the word in english, but I assume it is. Google translate gives me notghing). a weapon that is basicly ancient land mines.The Swedish wikipedia has a picture of it.

The most interesting thing is that the AI is learning from its mistakes. So if you answer something unexpected to its question concering the thing you are thinking about, next time it will take into account another solution.

Wow, it failed with "newspaper" but guessed "unicorn" in 18 questions.

Well Both Piratus and I knew about Caltrop, he even in a foreign language! Sounds like 'most' to me ! lol

I did an object one afterwards, combine harvester, it failed too. But was close with suggestions like bulldozer.

I tried it two times.
1.I thought razor. After 23 questions it suggested the right thing.
2.I thought scissors.30 question bad suggestions .But a question was a bit strange:"Can u find it in a classroom?"Well people majority of people answered yes...

I guess Pishk is right, it's not something most people know about. But it was fun beating it anyway xD

You can find them in some classrooms. Children love cliping and drawing on paper.

I remember playing pirates with a friend of mine at the beach..

we had gone off running through the water while the rest of the group stayed on the bank...

we ended up on a sand bank and eventually got bored... so we attempted to head back..

that was when he realised that the sand bank was being circled by atleast 50 stingrays..

he started bawling his head off because they were his biggest fear...

i was laughing so hard i nearly drowned in the knee deep water...

we eventually had to wait it out...

all in all the oceans i swallowed did not impact on my brain..

atleast I thont dink so...
