Perfect! Let's focus on carpentry then, since from your current standings it looks like your weak spot.
Basically you should learn the frequence of pieces, read the two-holes strategy post (you can find both thread in the School forum) and then post the highest Masterpiece you can make.

Good luck!

/e as a bilge trainer? Ironic really.
Bilge was th puzzle it took me longest to learn the bane of my wee young piratey life...
it says something to have 3 sublimes in other piracy duty puzzles and still have solid in bilge...

anyhow a very good friend of mine, Spoonio gave me some advice and made a great tutorial video (it should be on youtube Ill try and find it tomorrow) and all of a sudden it "clicked".
I went from respected to gm in one day.
Knowing the way the puzzle worked however only got me so far, the rest was time spent on the puzzle teaching your brain to recognise the patterns effectivly so you can pull off bingos effectivly.
So good news in one way- there is a 'magic' answer in a manner of speaking in learning how to bilge, but to get good..well, how much effort are you willing to put in? Wink

The advice spoonio gave me...
1) clear big eary to get sparklies, theyre easier to get earlier and more likely to stay that way
2) dont waste moves, efficiency is everything and you have more time to think than you may feel.
3) dont bother doing anything other than bingos if you can help it
4) a bingo made in 8 moves or less is worth the effort
5) if you have a bingo take a second to see if you can make a doney, occasionally theyre right there! getting ut on my first pirate Id only ever gotten one donkey and that was unintentionally as a greenie so dont worry if you have trouble making them!
