Well, my little stall adventure has not gone good.
I estimated that, even if I use bids to push down the costs (wich I often do) I only make 1.1 poe for each small cannonball I produce. That means that to cover my weekly rent of 1650 poe and made a small profit, I need to produce 1.600 small cannonballs each week.

Code:
For 1 scb:
Tax = 1.7$
Iron = 6$
Wood = 2.3$
Labour = 2.4$
That would mean I need (160 X 3/7) 68.5 labourhours a day and with the staff I have today I can only rely on getting around 20-30 hours a day.

To put it simple: I'm screwed.
I am making heavier cannonballs to, but becouse the demand for thoose is lower, I don't think I could make more profit from selling larger cannonballs. Besides I'm to lazy to estimate the profit for thoose right now.

Could someone share his/her opinions and tips on this? Is it simply impossible to make a profit from selling only cannonballs?

Help on running a profitable stall Empty Moving to swords

Post  Piratus Sat Feb 28, 2009 2:58 pm

Ahoy there, I don't have any problems with the cannonballmarket anymore, so I'm going to make the step and start making swords for sale (I have sword rack in order right now).

I could really use some help, is there anyone who have experience in Swordmonging? Where be the best markets for the different minerals? Wich swords sell the most?
